Home > Who Are We?

Salem Quarterly Meeting is an association of the Quaker meetings of Salem, Gloucester, Cumberland, and Cape May counties in southern New Jersey. We are a regional division of the Philadelphia Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends. We meet four times a year at varying locations for fellowship, discussion, activities and business meeting.

While Salem Quarterly Meeting was established in 1682, we maintain an active and vibrant community of Friends in seven Monthly Meetings and two worship groups, one in the Millville area and one at Southern States Prison. We have a thriving Friends School in Mullica Hill, and Friends Village at Woodstown, a Life Plan Community under our care in Woodstown.
